Our Visioning is a practice of cultivating presence, insight, and action. We are grounded in an integrated approach that incorporates a deep understanding of racial trauma, relational dynamics, and embodiment. Our goal is to support people individually and in community to connect with their inner wisdom, heal ancestral wounds, deepen relationships, and anchor their growth in the wisdom of the body.

This process is designed to support personal and social transformation by collaborating to clarify vision, strengthen community, and navigate the path toward transformative change.

Racial Trauma

The important work of Dr. Kenneth V. Hardy informs our approach. It is grounded in understanding racial trauma as the lived reality of racial stress that is a daily experience for people of color, including Black, Brown, and QTLGTSI+ people. We recognize how living in this oppressive context, often made invisible by societal denial, shapes experiences and necessitates constant navigation and adjustment. This lens informs our Visioning practice as we support the journey towards imagining, embodying, and creating new, equitable, and liberating ways of being that contribute to transformative change and liberation.

Relational Dynamics

We recognize that growth and well-being are deeply relational. We explore the dynamics of relationships and the profound impact of connection on our lives, as we support the journey towards building authentic, empowering connections that strengthen community and foster transformative change. This lens is vital for Black, Brown, and QTLGTSI+ people navigating the complexities of relationships within their social and cultural contexts—including racial trauma.

Embodiment

Our integrated approach incorporates a deep understanding of embodiment. Embodiment describes how what we currently practice—our thoughts, patterns, and habits—shapes how we move through the world. Recognizing that trauma also shapes what we embody, we use this lens to support increasing awareness, healing, and anchoring our growth in the wisdom of the body to cultivate new ways of being that move us towards liberation.
